TO THE FAMILY OF MICHAEL CARLTON
Dear Mary Grace and family,
Just read the paper today about Mike. It brought alot of memories flooding back from such happy times when our children were growing up! All those road trips to competitions with those little ballerina's, (Mike always there with camera in hand), and the many sleepovers with the girls....Mike will be remembered fondly by our family and may he be at peace until we all meet again! Our love and prayers go out to your family during this must difficult time.

TO THE FAMILY OF THOMAS HAWKINS
My dear Susan, Amanda, and family--I will always remember Tom sitting there with his glasses on his head, explaining his interpretation of the Scripture as we wrestled with questions during the 9:30 service at OMHPC. His rock-bottom faith will be an inspiration for us all. It is my prayer that all of you are sustained during these difficult days with the sure and certain knowledge that he has entered into the presence of the Holy God and has been welcomed with the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." TO THE FAMILY OF THOMAS HAWKINS
Hello Susan........and all the children,My God! What happened? I just read the paper and I am numb!I know that words become hollow at such times, but rest assured that the family and Tom are in my prayers this very moment.Tom and I played a lot of music together down at Al's back in the days.......Curious, he played those wedding gigs and our band picked Bluegrass, and because each of us were always working.....we never got a chance to see each other in action during all those years! Hahaha.I kept Tom's guitars going for a lot of years........and Tom always made room for me to keep my vehicles going when times were tough, when I my wife left for a homeless guy.....and I was then homeless, and then when things were tight once again when I was going to school. We traded services back and forth for years......and when there was an occasional lull, we would engage in deep conversations on religion and humanity and such......Oh, Tommy was a good man for sure and I will miss my friend. We never phoned each other every few days like some friends do,.......but we could always pick up a conversation exactly where we left off....no matter how long it was since we spoke. Now you know that Tom kept my car and truck going whenever I needed help. The money that I saved and the burden that was eased allowed me to complete school. Now I want you to know.......that together with my wife, LiYun, we commute frequently from our home to her home province in HeNan.I work as a rural country Dr. doing acupuncture in the middle of the country. There is no running water, no hot water, no heat, no toilets, no nothin' really...........but I get to treat what some would regard as the "Trust of God."I see a lot of people and they are the wealthiest people on this earth whose wealth is not of this world........and I do this, in no small part, because Tom kept my wheels moving that allowed to me to commute to NYC for a number of years and finish medical school......and I have never forgot this.Because of his service, literally, hundreds of people have some form of medical care that they would not have had otherwise.Rest in peace Tom, and may the blessings of God rest squarely upon him and you, and the family. With heartfelt prayers,-----R. TO THE FAMILY OF MARLENE ECCLESTON
Dear Carol, Alan, and family,
I was saddened to read of your mother's passing. I remember she always had a ready smile which always made me feel welcome, especially when I visited your grandparent's place in Barryville.
Please know that you are often in my thoughts, as I, pleasantly, remember our time together at the Barryville apartments.
